Honeyberry (lonicera caerulea)
$20.00Price
A honeysuckle that grows in the boreal peat forests of North America, Japan and Europe. Prolific producer of tasty blueberry-like fruits that are ripe around Midsummer. One of the first shrubs to bloom in our landscape. Mature height - 4-6' tall and wide.
As a super cold-hardy plant, we recommend folks in warmer climates (zone 6+) provide a bit of shade for best results. Not recommended for zone 8+.
Honeyberries require two varieties for pollination. We are working on building out our species inventory! More varieties to come in the future.
