"Cheropugy" - Beautiful “bush” type cherry. Makes a tart fruit that is excellent in pies and other baked goods, pressed into juice, dried, or eaten fresh fresh if you love tart fruit. Gorgeous white/pink blooms cover the entire bush in the early spring.
Can be susceptible to early spring frosts, so it’s a good idea to plant them near a building or other “heat battery” if you're in zone 5 or below.
Mature size is 5-6' high and 3-4' wide.
They require two cultivars for pollination. Keep an eye out for more varieties next season.
